Hmmm...good question. Well, because I cannot and do not know the definite answer to this question, I have created a list of possible answers. This was written with a touch of humor so please do not take anything here seriously. Or you can skip the questions and go straight to the real answer to this question.

Possible Answer #1: She and Ash sit down together after dinner every Wednesday night and surf the net looking at web sites of her. To make Sarah laugh, sometimes Ash pretends like he is some wacky 15 year old and posts goofy, off-the-wall messages in my guestbook and in other Sarah McLachlan guestbooks.

Possible Answer #2: When Ash is away at work or at the store, and no one else is around, Sarah logs on and visits web sites about her under an alias name that she uses. She posts messages on the message boards as this regular person, signs guestbooks, and exchanges emails with other fans who have no idea that the person they are talking to about Dido's new music is Sarah.

Possible Answer #3: Sarah visits her web sites occasionally, and every now and then she will post a message in the guestbook at one of the web sites. But when she signs the guestbook as Sarah McLachlan, or posts messages saying that she is Sarah, no one believes her and thinks that she is some freak acting like Sarah.

Possible Answer #4: Sarah has no interest in the Internet or looking at web sites about herself because she already knows everything that she needs to know about herself already. She certainly doesn't need the lyrics to her songs, and she knows what she looks like in all of those pictures. She would especially hate running across that picture of herself sitting in a cafe back in the eighties slurping a soda with a straw. So she just tends to her garden, spends time with Ash and her dog, and enjoys her life without even a peek at the Internet.

And For The Final and Most Important Possible Answer: Sarah is too busy working on her next album to even think about clicking a mouse.

Alright, alright. I will stop with the silly possible answers. I really have no idea if she has ever visited this site or any other web site about her. I wish I did.

This is what I really think: I think that Sarah has visited sites about herself, and I also think that she might have even posted a message or signed a guestbook under an alias name. (But this is only a guess!) It is something I would do if I were famous and wanted to have that feeling of being a 'regular Joe' again. I have heard that a lot of famous people sometimes wish to be just another face in the crowd again because the fame gets so tiring after so many years of it. So it may be fun for celebrities to use the Internet to become that 'face in the crowd' again with no one ever knowing it. Lucy Lawless (the star of Xena: Warrior Princess) did this when she was in bed for weeks after being injured. She said that she logged on with her laptop, entered chat rooms under an alias name, and chatted with Xena fans who had no idea that they were chatting with the actual Xena.
