11.05.02: Below are some pictures of Sarah singing at the Vancouver benefit. She's looking great! I bet she sounds great too, but we won't know until early next year. That's ok though. Good music is worth waiting for. :o)

09.05.02: The Sarah McLachlan Music Outreach and Vancouver's Arts Umbrella will be releasing a children's music album titled, For The Kids, on November 5, 2002. Sarah McLachlan and other artists will be featured on the album. Sarah sings the song "Rainbow Connection" from the Muppet Movie.

08.09.02: Sarah will be performing at a charity concert on October 10, 2002 at the General Motors Place in support of the new BC Cancer Research Centre. Bryan Adams, Jann Arden, Barenaked Ladies, and Chantal Kreviazuk will also be performing at this event. General Motors Place is located in Vancouver, British Columbia. 04.09.02: Sarah McLachlan gave birth to a baby girl on Saturday, April 6, 2002. Sarah and her husband, Ashwin Sood, named their little girl India, and all are doing well. Congratulations Sarah and Ash!

04.03.02: It looks like Yahoo is still migrating my Sarah McLachlan Club to a 'Group', but they still haven't replenished the actual number of members, which is over 1,000 members. Something tells me that they accidentally deleted most of my members because I have been emailing them about this for months now and they always send back the same generic message, "We are aware of your situation. Please be patient as we work on a solution."

03.22.02: I'm still waiting to hear about Sarah's new baby. As you all may already know, she is due this month. I will keep you posted!

Among other things - Yahoo is still messing with my club. I have been dealing with Yahoo ever since they accidentally deleted all 1,015 of the Sarahfan.com Yahoo club members. It has been in 'migration mode' for a month now and they won't respond to my emails. (Go figure.) Anyway! If they keep this up, I may have to form a fan club for this site elsewhere. Sorry if this has caused problems for anyone. Hang in there! We will keep our community in tact - if not with Yahoo, somewhere else.

09.11.01 - Breaking News: The twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City have collpased after two planes crashed into them. A portion of the Pentagon has also collapsed due to a plane crash. These are suspected terrorist attacks. In addition to the evacuations in New York City and Washington, there have also been evacuations in the state and federal buildings here in Western New York and in other parts of the United States. In the music world, tonight's 2nd Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards have also been cancelled. Please join America in prayer for the families and friends of the victims. 08.09.01: Design change (again!): I was getting tired of the 3D studio room design. It looked too much like "The Sims" game by Maxis. I kept waiting for the Sarah Sim to sit down at the piano and start playing. lol ;o) I wanted this new design to represent more of Sarah McLachlan's personal style, and I also wanted to organize the pages into categories.

06.28.01: Design Change: About 2 weeks ago, I received an email from my web host saying that I was 1 gig over my allowed bandwidth, almost over 3 gigs total for the month. This was caused by an increase in traffic and the Flash enhancements within the site that used a significant amount of bandwidth. So I decided to re-design once again, and this time I am only using one Flash music sample on the main page (by clicking on the piano keys) as opposed to 5 as before, and there will not be Flash on every page like there was during the last design. Hope you like it!

04.2001: Sarah made a difference! Sarah McLachlan signed an Internet petition to support South African AIDS research activists. The petition supports the South African government's efforts to lower the costs of essential medicines and to make them more accessible through the Medicines Act passed in 1997. Since the petition was signed by Sarah and many other celebrities and activists, the 39 drug companies involved in the suit to stop these efforts have announced that they will drop their case.

04.2001: Sarah McLachlan performed at the Rock for Choice concert in L.A. She performed Adia, Possession, Do What You Have To Do, I Will Remember You, Angel, and a new song.

03.2001: The Lilith Fair documentary will premiere at the South by Southwest Film Festival Conference in Austin, Texas this month. The 100-minute "Documentary Feature" was shot over the course of the Lilith Fair Tour's 1999 summer dates by director Lynne Stopkewich.

02.2001: Sarah will make a guest appearance on Stevie Nicks' new album, Trouble in Shangri-La. Stevie Nick's new album will hit stores on May 1st.

02.2001: MTV News just announced that Sarah is recording her new LP! It is not known exactly when her new album will be available, but I will let you know as soon as I find out!

02.2001: Sarah's lip print will be in the Celebrity Kiss Auction, which will benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation. You can bid on Sarah's lip print on February 4th at the Yahoo Auctions.

Instead of wasting this money away on something for myself, I put it towards Christmas gifts for 3 children from the Salvation Army Angel trees, and to a sweet little boy named Ady who lives in Romania. Ady is 5 years old, and he has the same inherited blood disorder that my friend Lisa has called Thalassemia.
