I am 14, I know that is young!From coming on this site I would have never meet my love of my life, Maude(oh yes baby)!That is the truth!I would have to say that the Goddess, which I call her has a way of tearing into your soul & pulling it out.I love ssar h's eyes!It seems to me that she holds the key in her hand to all!During my parents divorice & break up.I thought I would die...Sarah's song Adia can really relate to me back then because so much I felt that I was to blame for thier problems.Then, afterwa ds my aunt died...I sang to her right before she died while she was in acoma(spelled wrong) the song called I will Remember You & I will Not Forget You.I knew that she was going to go to a better place as I held her innocent hand & I didn't feel so bad.I ill never forget that moment!I have been Sarah's fan for about 3 years or more.I first heard her sing Bulding A Mystery on Vh1 when they had the Lilith Fair concert on.Ever since I have been obssesed..hehe.)Recently, I have been confused also like some ot ers with my sexuality & now I fallen into love..so I guess you could say I Love You would be a good song for the moment because I can't tell her that I love her.Oh, buddy....not good!I have always enjoyed Dear God & Into the fire because I feel like I hav the power to do anything/that I am free when I listen to "Into the fire."When, I listen Dear God it makes me think of how many things are going on right now that we are to naive to see...all the bad that has become of us & I am wondering where is God whe I need him.I am not a critic, but that is how I feel. My choir is the only sense of family I've ever really known, and I h ve spent two years living only for the choir. Now, within two weeks, I have to find something else to live for. Well The Path of Thorns made a big impact on my life. I have gone through a terrible breakup recantly. This song made me think about what we had and how he lost something to good to be true. Ever since I heard this song I have so much more respect for her I know it might sound dumb but this song helped me from taking the life of a smart, loving, young girl. The song "I love you" takes my breath away! Sarah has made a huge impact on my life. I felt almost cheated when I finally discovered her...the US doesnt give Canadian artists their due. I was certainly surprised when I went to buy Surfacing (the first time I'd heard her was hearing Sweet Surrender) and I saw ALL of her CD's there. Within a week I was hooked, and I've been that way ever since. I was fortunate enough to see Sarah in concert, and I think she sounds even better live in concert! This song means a lot to me. Sometime ago I lost the one I love, and I felt so bad... Like if I had died with some terrible disease, I wanted to finish with my life, I know it's something so stupid to think. But one day, while I was shopping, I heard "I ill Remember you", and I knew that it was Sarah McLachlan, her voice is something unforgetable... So listening to those lyrics I found the perfect words to say to my lost love... I Will Remember You... I love Sarah's music since 'City Of Angels" soundtrac was released. Now in Portugal I'm her biggest fan, driving my friends crazy because I'm always listening Sarah's Songs. All her songs are amazing, and have some special meaning to me... in my life... It's like if she's writting those songs to explain som issues in my life. Thanks God she existes because she is the closest thing to heaven that we have in the music world:) So thank you Angela to your site and thak you very, very, very much to Sarah McLachlan and her music... Good Enough- One verse seemed to describe someone that I love very much...unfortuately, I can never have her... "I never would have opened up, but you seemed so real to me; after all of the bullshit I've heard, it's refreshing not to see; I don't have to retend she doesn't expect it from me..... Fear- Mainly because of the same person- I don't want to interfere in the relationship she already has Angel- "...from this dark cold hotel room..."- I've been there, thinking and longing for someone I Love you (live)- The original version on Surfacing I enjoy thoroughly...but I think there's so much more emotion in that version of the song......

Both of my favorites are very dark, deep songs...they reflect a great deal of my inner turmoil. I Will Remember You...represents the endless road of life we all take...how we cannot pause on that road, however tired or worn down...we can only remember the past and hope we too will be more than a fleeting part of life to others. Sarah's music is so terribly soulful...it never fails to bring me to tears.
