 Angela, Webmaster: I have been running this site since 1997 (at this domain since 1999). It started out as a site for fun, and ended up as an informational resource and meeting place for many Sarah McLachlan fans. This site's purpose: This site was created for interaction between Sarah McLachlan fans and for Sarah fans to learn more about her music.
History of Sarahfan.com
There have been quite a few different designs for Sarahfan.com over the years. So for fun, I thought I would display a small gallery of the Sarahfan.com designs of the past.
2002-2003: My favorite.
2001: This design was short-lived because I just got sick of it. But it was fun to make! ;o) I made Sarah's 'virtual' music room out of many different images that I cut up and altered or created. The music room also had clickable areas of music samples and links to other pages within.
2000: This design only lasted a few months because it used too much Flash, which ate up quite a bit of bandwidth. When I received an email from my web host stating that the site was 1 gig over the allowed 2 gigs for the month, I decided that a quick re-design was necessary - a design that didn't use so much Flash.
1996-1997: The two designs that were used in the beginning are long gone. I tried to find them in my old files with no luck. But maybe that's a good thing! ;o)
